Of course, you’re probably a little bit bigger now, so fitting into a standard-sized kiddie pool might be more of a challenge than you’re looking for. Plus, your neighbors might laugh at you and take pictures.
The good news is, there are such things as inflatable pools for adults. Here are three examples of extra-large inflatable pools that are great for horsing around with the kids, or just kicking back and relaxing with a delicious summer cocktail. Best of all, these adult-sized blow up pools won’t blow up your budget.
1. Intex Family Lounge Pool
Not that you’ll be cramped or anything. With a diameter of about 7 feet, this vinyl pool has enough room for a small gathering. The user reviews are very positive, though as with all blow up pools, there are always issues with tears and slow leaks. Fortunately, the pool comes with a repair patch.
2. Jilong Family Kiddie Pool
In fact, because the pool is so large, you may have to put some thought into where it goes. You’ll need a decent stretch of level ground. And you’ll want to be sure of your choice, because once this baby gets filled, you won’t want to be moving it around too much.
3. Intex Family Lounge Pool (Four-Seater)
You’d be hard-pressed to find another adult-sized inflatable pool with higher ratings than this. The main complaint (besides leaks, which are common with these types of pools) is that the price is somewhat higher than other options. But then, most other options aren’t as large, or as well-designed.
Looking for something even larger? If so, you might want to look into an easy set (aka quick set) above ground pool. Easy set pools come with an inflatable ring that floats as you fill the pool up with water. While generally more expensive and complicated than the typical inflatable pool, they come in larger sizes that can accommodate groups of children and adults.
